    I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect for me, as it was close to the main street and public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. I particularly loved the well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, which had everything from a toaster to free toiletries. The heating and air conditioning made my stay even more enjoyable, especially during the hot weather. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I checked in until I checked out. I had a great experience here and would highly recommend it.

    Spacious and clean rooms with modern amenities. Cute and accommodating hosts. Convenient location. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Comfy bed and lovely spa in the room. Well-equipped kitchenette. Helpful and attentive staff. Nice outdoor area.

    The room size was really spacious and allowed for a comfortable stay. the bed was cozy too, perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. the location of the hotel was great as it was conveniently close to key attractions and public transportation.

    The lack of cleanliness in the room. the bathroom could have been cleaner and the floors were not properly swept or mopped.

    The hosts at the motel/apartment were extremely friendly and helpful, even carrying my luggage to my room. the rooms were spacious and well equipped with a full kitchen and comfortable beds. the parking on site was excellent and the location was convenient, with restaurants, a supermarket, and motorways nearby. a fantastic place to stay.

    Felt at ease, no reason to complain.

    The value for money at Ava Lodge was excellent - comfortable beds and spacious, modern rooms made for a great stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to Petone's attractions and a bus stop right outside. The staff were cute and helpful, offering early check-in and late check-out, as well as a drop-off service for our event.

    The breakfast option could be improved with more variety.

    Great service from the staff and comfortable rooms with modern amenities. the location is convenient to the beach and local restaurants. One of the best aspects was the sustainable initiative to reduce waste through the use of refillable toiletries in the bathrooms.

    There were no negative aspects of this experience. A fantastic stay overall!

    The location is great, within walking distance to a bus stop with frequent service into the city, and with easy access to the motorway. Restaurants are also conveniently located nearby. In terms of the room, it is comfortable, with a decent-sized TV and efficient heating/cooling systems. the staff was friendly and welcoming. the lodge also takes pride in being sustainable, using refillable toiletries instead of individually packaged ones.

    The parking situation can be tricky if the hotel is full, as there are no allocated spaces.

    We experienced a delightful weekend at a newly built accommodation. It was a great size and had a spacious bathroom. The colours and decor created a welcoming space, and the double glazed windows provided a peaceful night's sleep. It was in a convenient location, with only a short stroll to the restaurants and waterfront. The parking was excellent, and the bed linen was of high quality.

    That the bathroom lacked enough hooks to hang our robes, and the toilet roll was awkwardly placed, which was relatively inconvenient. Nonetheless, these were minor issues that didn't detract from our stay at all.

    We loved the hotel's great location, so close to everything, including the main street, licensed restaurants, and a bus stop with frequent service into the city. the hotel facilities were great, with modern and fully kitted out apartments that offered both air conditioning and heating. We really appreciated the secure parking and the really good service provided by a helpful and attentive staff.
